Welcome to the course of "Research Design and Biostatistics". This course is a combined version of two courses previously offered by the biological sciences, biotechnology and environmental major students titled "Biostatistics" and "Research Methods".

Topics: uses and misuses of stats ib biology, terminology in biostatistics, scales of measurement, data and its types, measures of central tendency (ungrouped and grouped data),measures of disperssion (ungrouped and grouped data), hypothesis testing, t-test.
